Histograms are an excellent tool for displaying the shape and spread of a distribution of data.

In Stats Pad select Histogram from the graphs tab of the menu.

Enter titles if desired.

Turning “Relative Frequency” on will generate a relative frequency graph.

Select the raw data for the histogram (not including labels) and tap the data button.

Histogram 1.001

Tapping the “Create” button will generate the histogram.

Histogram 2.002

The starting point and category widths are calculated automatically, but can be changed through the graph edit menu. Double tap the graph to display the graph edit menu. Go to the Histograms tab of the menu and enter a new starting point and bin width. Since the graph contains a copy of the original data points new bar heights will be calculated automatically for the graph.
